Blade Series Air Conditioners & Heat Exchangers

In this episode of Ice Qube TV we would like to introduce you to our Blade Series air conditioners and heat exchangers.

Our Blade series air conditioners are the slimmest air conditioners on the market and are ideal for door mount applications on electrical enclosure cabinets. 

These closed loop enclosure air conditioners are available in 1000, 1700, 2700, 3500, and 5000 btu capacities, with the entire product line being only 3.15 inches deep.

All our Blade series air conditioners have an LCD digital controller that will increase and decrease fan speed as cooling requirements change.  This feature, plus our rotary compressor, makes our Blade series air conditioners the most efficient cooling systems of their kind.

The digital controller has many other features including a diagnostic system with audible alerts for fan failure, exceeded high and low temperature set points, filter cleaning maintenance, and more. 

These units are available in powder coated steel and stainless steel.  Voltages are 120 and 230 volts ac. Optional accessories include internal heat and an alarm output.

Ice Qubes’ Blade Series heat exchangers are an energy efficient alternative to traditional closed loop enclosure air conditioning. This product is perfect for environments where electrical or electronic equipment design temperatures are greater than ambient temperatures.

The Blade series heat exchangers are available in 16.7 watt, 33.3 watt, 44.4 watt, 55.5 watt, 83.3 watt, and 105.5 watt of closed loop heat rejection capacities.

Blade Series heat exchangers come with both an AC input and DC input. These uniquely designed heat exchangers are ideal for any industry where AC power is available and DC battery power is used for backup.

If AC power only is applied, the heat exchanger will operate. If DC power only is applied, the heat exchanger will operate. If both AC and DC power is applied, the heat exchanger will operate on AC power as a default.

If the AC power fails, the heat exchanger will automatically switch to DC power, continuing to reject heat from the electronics until the AC power is restored. Once restored, the heat exchanger will default back to AC power with seamless operation.

The standard digital controller will vary the speed of both ambient and enclosure side fans as the internal heat load increases and decreases. This makes the Blade Series heat exchangers one of the most efficient on the market.

The Blade Series Heat Exchangers provide energy efficient, stable and reliable operation, and compared with fan units, the heat exchanger completely isolates your electronics from ambient conditions.

Standard features include an external alarm, and built in heat for low ambient conditions.
