I don't know if it has been done before, but for a video idea could you try and make the suspension as soft as possible. Like to get the smoothest, comfortable ride? Maybe like Install way more shocks than normally to test the differences :D

I was expecting the batteries to pop from the alternator over-charging the heck out of them trying to get them up to 14V, particularly considering the mismatch between battery block sizes: the chunk on the positive terminal side has much smaller cells than the other two and fewer of them at that.

When the engine started. O was worried about the charging from teh alternator into the battery :O Thermal runaway in the car would not end in a good way I guess.

Those are li-ion batteries with max charge of 4.20V per cell, you have 3 in series, so 12.60V in total.
I believe the li-on will resist being overcharged and so the alternator is being overloaded.
