This looks good and I'll give it a try. I usually go simpler: skin on, season with salt, a sprinkle of parsley and basil, and a touch of shichimi (since discovering it, I use it on a lot of food). Heat a drizzle of oil, make a couple of slices in the skin and cook skin-side down until the skin is crisp. Flip and finish. I serve with quick-heat rice or leftover veggies, and it takes minutes. Also not a huge mess to clean up.

Perfect salmon for me is raw but lightly smoked, with just a dab of kikoman soy and a chaser of pickled ginger.
**Note: for raw salmon sushi grade fish is a must and it absolutely has to have been frozen for at least 12 to 24 hours before preparation.

Looks really good except Id leave the capers off. Some old lady ruined those for me when I was young and she put them in my tuna sandwich. Yuck! Lol

To bad that skin stuck to the dish when you pulled it out to serve.

Nice cook on it, just sad that skin stayed in the pan.
