Rule #1 Reported speech is always written in past tense
Rule #2 Reported speech is always written in third person
Rule #3 When speaker asks a question which can be only answered in yes or no Add if or whether
Rule #4 When speaker speaks in sentence add that
Rule #5 When speaker gives a command or request Add to
Rule #6 When speaker asks a question like what, where, how, when, who etc Replace said with asked
Rule #7 Do not change the dialogue into past tense Universal Truth

Rules of Reported Speech:-

➻1) Reported speech is always
written in past tense.

➻ 2) Reported speech is always
written in third person.

➻ 3) When speaker asks a

The king said that THEIR kingdom was safe from enemies.
OUR will change to THEIR since OUR is plural.Minor mistakes can cause to reduce our marks especially when it comes to BOARD EXAMS so, ,

Sir i think reported speech
Rule #1 should be --- reported speech mostly written in past sentence not in "always" because we have not used past in universal truth 😃
