I’m an immigrant that’s proud to have grown up here, so it genuinely pains me to see how quickly divided we’ve become in the last 6 years. I love this country, not the government. I love the belief/idea of being able to sit, talk and eat with people that are different from me in any way, not the belief/idea that I have to sit, talk and eat with people who are exactly the same as me. True patriots want an America that’s great for ALL citizens, not an America the great for only themselves and those in their party. That’s the America I want and the America I hope we can become again
