I really like this team. It's not far off from what I'm thinkin atm. I have picked up Bayindir in goal. That frees up cash to have another 7 instead of 6.5 in the midfield.
I went for Gundogan in that spot. A lot of debate about how good he has been in the German team, but he seems to be pretty nailed in that #10 role. I can't look past him then.
Must say I value Rodri over the other 6.5s, although only slightly over Calhanoglu. He basically starts each game with 4 points, because he plays 90, and barely ever has less than 6 ball recoveries against decent opponents. Might just be great that he has tougher oposition, because that could mean more ball recoveries 🙂

Great video mate - clear, effective and simple yet very engaging. I like the thoughts of Havertz and Cancelo over Lukaku and Guehi. Think theres more upside to it and I don't think England's defence will be as good as people think. Although, is Havertz Saka Guehi better than Havertz Slobozlai Cancelo. Its very tough decision...

Excellent post! I understand your dilemma re: Lukaku v Havertz. I think Lukaku will score more points but I’m going with Havertz as that gives me the best captain day 1. Most will captain Mbappe on day 4 not Lukaku so his threat will be minimized. Havertz also allows me to upgrade Guehi (I think England concede in both games) to Cancelo and upgrade €7m mid to Saka (by downgrading €6.5m mid to Jorginho)

Good post Nacho. However, Arda Guler is actually cheaper than Calhanoglu. Our drafts are exactly the same. The only difference is Gundogan - Costa in mine and Wirtz - Verbruggen in yours.

Love the idea of 8 penalty takers in the attacking section of my team. Guehi is a real gem

Like it a lot and I'd probably have a very similar team to this if I wasn't going for Lukaku instead of Havertz. Feel Belgium attack is too strong to ignore right now.

I'm saving 0.5 on GK playing Costa game 1 then transfer GK for 2nd game if Costa is an issue.

Team set up should be strong enough that only injury will require transfer after 1st game.

Wouldn't you think about downgrading a midfielder to say a Chakvetadze and then upgrading another two midfielders to say a Trossard, Simons, Saka

I have such a similar team to you, I just don’t have verbruggen ( kobel) don’t have guehi(cancelo ) don’t have Shaquiri ( Jorginho ) don’t have Bruno ( gundogan )
