This definitely works we tried it accidentally instead of throttle water on the floor we thought use it to water the plants. Wooohhhh this works extremely well for growing flowers like a pro.

I started a deck pond, I filled a large planter with water and put a bunch of goldfish in it with a little waterfall. I use the about 10 gallons per day to water everything in my yard. Works great and people like the fish.

I have been using my aquarium water for my potted house plants and potted apartment balcony garden for a long while.
Your video explains very well how it helps along with why it helps, both with water conservation and needed plant nutrients you get for free.
Aquariums need water changes and plants need water and nitrogen.
Plain and simple it's a win win scenario!

Just thought I’d let you know that there should be zero levels of ammonia in the aquarium water.

The fish produce ammonia whenever they pee and poo.

But in a properly cycled aquarium (the nitrogen cycle) good bacteria will grow that will only feed on the ammonia in the tank.

So there’ll be zero ppm (parts per million) of ammonia in the water.

That good bacteria will also then pee and poop.

That’ll produce “Nitrite”

But a second type of good bacteria will also grow, and that’ll eat the “Nitrite” in an aquarium.

That 2nd bacteria will also pee and poop.

But it’ll produce “Nitrate”

Both ammonia and nitrite are lethal to fish.

But nitrate levels can be available in the aquarium water at up to levels of 40ppm

Which is wonderful for our gardens.

I hope this made sense, just wanted to share this information with you all. So you know that there’s no nasty toxins etc in aquarium water.

It’s all good stuff. And incredibly beneficial for your healthy gardening 😊

I have 3 adorable, mischievous, wonderful Peacock Bass, and these guys have a HUGE appetite, so I’m running a 1700 litre aquarium that needs a water change pretty much every single week.

You’re more than welcome to check them out on my YouTube channel, I won’t post the link here without permission 👍

I’m also the founder of 4 Australian wildlife groups, so I’m hoping to share many wonderful things about our wildlife with you all.

I think this is a great video that you’ve made, and I also think that your young fella is a brilliant little camera dude 😊 well done little fella 👍

I just did this -

The 45 gallon fish tank that I have was doing great, filter was filtering out most of the stuff but all of a sudden I had a few fish die and I had to transfer the rest.

So, I drained all the water but instead of usually dumping it down my drains I used it in my garden where I grow peppers, onions, cucumbers, and lettuce, The rest of the water that I didn't use I dumped in buckets to use this summer.

Let's see if it makes a difference 🙏

I don’t really change my water often because I have a big filter that does the work but I often clean my filter and I clean it in a bucket of water and keep that dirty water and add more water before watering since it’s concentrated :)
