It's weird seeing Thundercat not with his big custom bass and look that he has today haha

I was there the day they filmed this. I was with Scissor Sisters who they filmed first. These guys came in as we were leaving and I had no idea who they were. God I wish I did, I would have stayed and taken a taxi home. Thundercat blows my mind!

Watching Thundercat move those fingers, I am convinced that if he were to suddenly become a supervillain who tickles his victims to death, he would be one of the most dangerous people who ever lived.

I thank god for thundercat everyday. Since George Duke died, I needed someone to pick up his role. Here it is. 🥰

Daylight has to be one of the most underrated thundercat songs, live performances of this song were amazing, sad that he doesnt play it anymore live, same with Lotus and other old songs, also the old band was on point too.

That breakdown going from Ebm7 to Bmaj7 with the run back into Ebm7 repeat is where Them Changes chord progression came from ⚡⚡⚡

How is it possible that Thundercat and the band can warp time and take both us and their music on a spiritual journey back in time to honour the sound of those pioneering ancestors and living heroes Duke, Clarke, Hendrix, SunRa, Wonder, Hancock, Zappa, Purdie, Connors, Carn plus many others . . . yet remain as current if not more important than any so called mainstream artist? This is beyond musicianship . . . this is 4 space farers channelling the deeper mysteries of the universe . . . one note at a time. Sublime.

That Daylight Outro sounds really similar to Fair Chance, just beautiful how you can have a song stuck on your mind for years till it gets made for real.

I like this thundercat, sensitive, nostalgic, plus his brother on drums, two bases, the vocals, he should’ve kept this personel
