Professor RobBob, thank you for Showing and Modeling Word Problems with Linear Functions Part One. These real life word problems only helps the general public makes good financial choices. Cars and Houses are the two largest purchases that people make everyday on planet earth.

ProfRobBob....Thanks for all your hard work you put into these vidoes. I am currently studying for the math portion of the teaching state test, which I have failed three prior times, and your videos explain in a way I can understand. I go to an online school for my teaching degree so I have no profs. I can go too. Bless you and Thanks again.

The line you used to connect the points implies that selling half a car would give you a $100 commission and overall $1100 pay. Instead, what would be a more appropriate means to connecting the points?

BAM! So if this were a slope intercept form equation... The 1000 dollars would be the "b" correct? Meaninging that the 1000 is the y intercept? So what's the main difference between this function and just using the slope intercept form?

Okay but why would you say you can't buy a half of a car? As a sales man I would think the car was magically sold at half price. 🤣

Please don't use cursive. Many people can't read it.
