I really like how many countries's capabilities are unspoken or simply untouched by public news. It's very good to see hows the readiness and technology/intelligence aspect of one's armed forces. As an Italian I would never expected the Adriatic to become so hot. Glad to know our navy was capable to deploy all the assets to track the Russian ships that enter the Adriatic, hope they would also be able to track to submarine.
I hope that who ever wins the upcoming elections is going to found our navy adequately

Great work by Italy this! Incidents like this also illustrated why Ireland need to get into NATO asap. Now as Sweden and Finland will fill in NATO's presens in the Baltic, Irland is important for securing this part of the north western Atlantic, so the Russian can't snoop on UK and French SSBNs and lob cruise missiles into western Europe from Irish waters.

How did we detect a submerged nuclear reactor? I'm aware of MAD detecting a submerged metal object, though I wasn't aware we had sensors capable of detecting submerged nuclear reactors.

Have a couple destroyers shadow her real close while banging away on active around the clock for like a week straight. Soon as she tries to run to get away from the noise the DD's just follow her. Nobody onboard will get a wink of good sleep.
