How to Mix Greens for Watercolor

Today I'm talking about how to mix greens in watercolor. For some reason this can be tricky. In this video I talk about how to mix several shades of green and how to use these different mixes to create depth in your painting.

Ive been out painting the last few days working with cob turquoise - my greens are now much more authentic, so this movie is so well timed!! Lavendar again proving its worth! I hadnt thought about placing a neutral in between the warm and cold, I think using this as a principle will help with all my colour choices. Great thank you, I will go out today and apply what Ive learnt. And of course you can then get more vivid with Qu. Gold. I think thats where ive been going wrong - using to much of this pigment.

I also like green, I also like to draw green, although green is really very difficult to draw，And I like to add some purple to the green to represent the dark green we see with the naked eye
