I’ve never seen him this broken, and it’s killing me. He doesn’t deserve this. None of us do. Watching him suffer is unbearable, and I’m terrified of what lies ahead.

How can someone destroy another person so easily? How is this fair? I just want my brother’s life back.

Indian laws are not protecting actual women victims, their perpetrators are roaming freely. Indian laws are not protecting morally upright Indian men, their torturers are getting away easily. I believe the time has come for the Indian Judiciary and IPC to stand beside the men (especially the ones who suffer incessantly by keeping mum against their harassers) too.

The cases of Wives and their Families taking undue advantage of 498A have become rampant in middle-class societies (especially in Urban India).

I personally know so many men who were advised by lawyers not to go to police stations and file complaints against their harassing wives and their relatives because that would also go against them.
