An amazing bargain, especially when you consider its out performs the nexus 4 in benchmarks and is level with the galaxy S3. Pretty impressive for a budget phone.

I love how Motorola shells out phones that run an almost stock version of android. As soon as this hits the markets of developing countries (specifically Asia), it would immediately replace the cheap and unreliable China brand phones that have been the go-to brands of people wanting a cheap android device, and will put Motorola back on top. An almost nexus experience at such a low low price and no compromises, I mean for that price, cheap china brand phones only comes with a QHD screen, 1500mAh battery, and half a gig of ram, but the Moto G exceeds and promises more.

Seems like finding an 8Gb nexus 4 on eBay would be a better buy. You'd get better specs, android 4.4 (and the following version), as well as a much better design and build.

You did too much comparison. You should mention the 329ppi display 1.2GHz Quad cpu and guaranteed KitKat upgrade, thats why the price is so damn good.

The retina display may be a lower resolution, but it looks better overall with the smaller screen
