Charm Recommendations:
(THIS ONLY ACCOUNTS FOR PLAYERS WHO HAVE ALL CHARMS, YOU WILL NEED TO THINK ABOUT WHAT CHARM YOU WANT TO USE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EVERY CHARM)

Envy: The envy charm is a good charm for beginners playing singleplayer, but after you learn the game you should never use this charm.

Greed: This charm is good against A-40 but is useless apart from that, I wouldn't recommend this charm.

Desire: Desire is a good charm for speedrunning. If you are a more advanced player I would use desire. If you aren't, then it would be better to pick another charm.

Gluttony: I don't really like this charm, however it is good if you take damage a lot. This charm is best used to help other people obtain this charm.

Pride: This charm is very good at door A-001 to A-500, and past A-900. I wouldn't use this charm for doors A-600 to A-900.

Wrath: This is one of the best charms in the game. You technically have double stamina and extra health which regenerates extremely fast. This charm removes lots of risk from the game which makes it a great charm for both beginner and advanced players.

Sloth: This charm is universally accepted as the best charm in the game. It makes entities like A-60' and A-120 much easier since you are immediately safe when you hide. That mixed with the silent footsteps and 500% stamina regeneration while hiding makes this charm extremely overpowered. I would recommend another charm if you are new to the game, but if you are an advanced player then you should use this charm.

So this guide is slightly outdated, here is a list of changes. I will make a new guide in the not so near future.

- New Charm: Patience, obtained by reaching A-300 without meeting A-50 (Alpha Run). Has way too many abilities to write here lol.
- New Entity: A-666, this entity is an optional encounter so there is no rush for me to make a new guide. If you plan on encountering this entity, use flashlight/scanner and desire.
- Settings menu has been added, including settings like deaf mode, quieter jumpscares, disabling Pnevma's ability to hear your microphone and more.
- Game now supports Bloxstrap.
- Table Rework: Instead of a 10% chance of dying to 60 or 60' under a table, it is a much higher chance of you getting burned, losing like 30 or so health.
- Pride Rework: Instead of preventing the 10% chance, all table burns take stamina instead of health (takes health if you have no stamina).
- Desire Rework: All doors automatically slam at no stamina cost.
- Sloth Rework: Stamina regens much faster while hiding, hiding late is no longer safe.
- Gluttony Update: Battery healing now costs 6 batteries.
- Greed and Wrath: Both received secret interactions with shells which makes them easier.
- Secondary Wrath Obtainment: Reach A-300 without taking damage (Alpha Run).
- Secondary Envy Obtainment: Send three ghost messages.
- A-60 and A-60' were redesigned.
- Gummy Flashlight Rework: A-100 can no longer detect the gummy flashlight light at all (still detected if shaken). The light emitted is bigger but the battery drains slightly faster.
- Shell Party, if 5 or more people use shell ugc in one run, every locker will have a shells in it.
- Ghost Lights Rework: They aren't completely useless anymore.

small trivia

an additional "anticheat" after being sent to the serious room by red skull was the "boykisser" mechanic
practicially everyones who was sent to the serious rooms' avatar was changed to a boykisser for 24 hours, of which featuring a dunce hat, and a shirt saying "push me" on the back
in addition you got a boykisser overlay on your screen for ~2 seconds upon starting the game
For other players, you were interactable by clicking the "push me" part of your shirt, which will infact, cause it to push you. sometimes even into pits or away from lockers!

but...
the mechanic was removed so...
blame me for the jumpscare at the end

I decided to play Rooms & Doors out of interest after watching this video, where something strange and funny happened. Despite it being my first time playing, I have 3 runs already, as the first two I had to reset due to the second door refusing to open. Third time's the charm, as by the third run I got to A-20. Anyhow, good game, builds tension quite well :D

Some things that you forgot to mention:
1- Health loss from overexhaution (that is any stamina action without the stamina needed) is calculated by the amount of stamina you have minus the stamina cost the action has, if the result is negative, than the result is how much health is lost.
2- You don't neccesarly need to reach the exhaution in order to trigger low stamina effects, there is a threshold around less then 10 stamina where you'd get the same effects as having 1 stamina.
3-Battery snatching is a fixed 20 stamina use, not 30.
4-The multiplayer benefits are completely removed once you are the only player alive, and envy returns to its singleplayer counterpart when there are no ghosts.
5-Scanner isnt 100% guranteed to highlight a battery, but I don't know if this is intentional or a bug.
6- room 200 is a safe room, and if you open up a safe room door while A-60 or A-60' is attacking, they wont open the door, also prevents any other A-60' from spawning.
7- Past room 300, the death sequence is greatly sped up.
8- A-10's holes emit a distinct ambience.
9- A-40 actually starts spawning at room 21. He stuns you for around 3 seconds and prevents being able to interact with anything for longer.
10- The size of A-50's eye determines how close he is to killing you by measuring it to your current health. He speeds up at A-50 and A-100. He also dosent attack at room 20. Every time he approaches you, he deals 20 damage to you.
11- A-60 speeds up at room 50 and 100, then starting from 500, every 100 rooms he slightly speeds up.
12- The scanner still emits A-60's static during A-60 prime's attack
13- A-60 and A-60' will completely cease attacking if the A-10 would of killed you by the next door slam opening, dont use this as a safe spot.

Sidenote: You should show entities in chronogically spawning order rather than numerical order as its easier to grasp on.

14- A-90' deals 50 damage, not 60.
15- A-90 and A-90' apply a concussive effect on their attacks which deafens your hearing, constantly plays an ear ringing noise and slows your camera movement, this goes away after a while.
16- The scanner drains 5x faster during silent mode.
17- A-120 vibrates your controller every drum beat,
18- All light sources emit a different sound when both on and flickering.
19- A-50 will instantly start attacking if you enter the locker during A-200 effects after it despawns.
20- A-200' does NOT attack consecutively, its most likley a bug, if not please correct me (understandable why you'd said that, considering rooms and doors isnt a perfect game)
21- A-250 emits very quiet and visible shaking when its ready to attack but another entity is already attacking, most noticeable during A-200's attack.
22- Sloth rite detects if you even hit the shift button at all, so no locker slams.
23- Greed rite detects if there are any alive players near you when you enter a locker, if they die and no entities are spawning anymore, you get the charm.
24- Greed charm highlights lockers occupied by players through walls, but does not highlight those occupied by A-40 through walls.
25- Envy warning you in singleplayer has a 1 second delay when the entity spawns (you can test this with the scanner). You can also hear voice chat of dead players im pretty sure.
26- Gluttony uses tween to change color from yellow to orange, can be seen if you enter the next room with a door slam.
27- You dont have to click while sprinting to open a door, simply sprinting into it is enough.
28- wrath dosent double your stamina or health, the bar remains completely the same. Refer to 29.
29- The squares on the bars of your health and stanina represent roughly 10% of each. With wrath its changed to 5%.
30- most entities has a unique sound that plays across every room when they kill a player. These are A-10, A-50, A-60, A-120 (shared with A-200) aswell as their prime variants.
31- Pnevmas are instantly killed when you reach a safe room.
32- A-60 can still prevent A-250 from attacking by spawning right after a scribble attack, this only happens in room 900.

hello, i know this is a guide and i just want to check out on some things that were added this week (as the creation of this comment)

Novice: this is a reaaally long comment

- secret encounter near A-600 (A-666)
this is a secret entity you can interact (and get chased by it for doing so) in room A-666, called "nine incomprehensible horrors"
its mechanic is like haste from Doors, but you can enter locker to make it despawn for a few seconds, but watch out, if you despawn him a 8th time (or it spawns a 9th time) you get instakilled, you just have to get to A-700, so be fast. (and by fast i mean dont stop, as you cant run because of the blood in the floor of every room)

phase 1: normal speed

phase 2: a bit more faster
phase 3: more fast
phase 4: more fast
phase 5: bro is silent
phase 6: bro go broom (really fast and wont stop but you are safe)
phase 7: a lil bit slower than phase 6
phase 8: a666 is invisible and fast (if you have like ~5 rooms youre dead)
phase 9: instakill

- Wrath and Greed charms have a special interaction with A-40
wrath will open the locker where a40 is in then punch him right in the face (ouch!)
greed will open the locker and evade a40 attack
both giving imediate response so you dont have to wait to be able to hide

- HUGE rework to patience charm (get to A-300 without A-50 showing ONCE)
so what patience do is that when you enter a locker you are safe, not when the animation ends, (bro stole from sloth)
That was before the update
now, if you hide late you wont lose health but stamina, kinda like pride (which make table burns take stamina instead of health)
not only that, if you are able to time your hiding PERFECTLY (theres an indicator for that) you get extra stamina, even when you have maxed out, it extends (just this way, not entirely) your stamina to 200 (you know you have more than 100 stamina when theres blue lines on the borders of the screen)
the bad thing is that A-50 does twice the damage, so it can kill you if you hide early (i recommend personally to win A-1000 before doing patience)

theres also new settings but i dont care abt that (you can check yourself no offense lol)
