Though the Revel is not an all-new model, this year, it is enjoying a host of updates that are aimed at making the van even more comfortable. Unfortunately, these changes do not come cheap, so the 2021 Revel gets a major price bump of over 20,000 bucks.

21-inch shorter than its Nova EB sibling, the La Strada Nova M van takes advantage of the same one-piece monocoque body construction and uses the latest Sprinter underpinnings with standard RWD or optional AWD. Despite being smaller, the Nova M has enough space for three people: the rear houses a single cot, while at the front, there is a collapsible queen bed.

Outside Vans Iksp is built around the 2019 Sprinter 170 EXT with standard 4WD, offering plenty of space inside that is cleverly used by Outside Vans designers.

We are already familiar with Hymer’s 4x4 Grand Canyon S camper van and ML-T 570 Class C Motorhome based on the latest Sprinter. But the Germans felt compelled to expand their off-roading lineup with a more prepared Crossover edition line.

Just like Bruce Banner was a scrawny nuclear physicist before turning into the Hulk, the Tourig van began as an ordinary two wheel drive cargo van, but was transformed by Tourig into a hardcore adventure machine.

The new all-terrain camper for by the German Karman Mobil offers an optimal package for a spontaneous adventure of two travelers. The Dexter 570 4x4 takes advantage of the Ford Transit chassis.

In production since the late 1990s, the Jabiru from the Australian Trakka has always been built on the Sprinter chassis, so with arrival of the new generation model in 2019, the camper moved to the new underpinnings. The newest member of the refreshed Jabiru family is the mid-wheelbase J2M model with AWD.

Norva Kitsune 4x4 targets those customers who need to carry lots of gear when getting off the beaten path. Underpinned by Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4 chassis, the Kitsune comes standard with premium four-season insulation, which is covered by sustainable poplar paneling to save on vehicle’s weight.

VanWorx Maxtraxx takes advantage of the renewed Crafter platform in 2 wheelbase lengths with the high top. There are 2 and 4 fixed bed layouts with luxury mattress, full lining, heating, hot water, and electrics. The two-person model comes with a wet bath, while the 4-sleeper gets a cassette toilet and an outdoor shower

Based in Jackson, Wyoming, Moterra Campervans has several camper models that they rent out on a daily or weekly basis for those people who would like to experience a bit of vanlife for themselves. The company’s Pop-Top Classic model features a pop-up roof, which adds to nearly 8 foot of interior height.

Is a 4x4 van your top pick for an adventure camper? Which chassis is the most suitable for the task? Let's discuss these questions in the comments!

I’d need a shedload of money for every off road creation in this video because I’d buy them all. 🙏🙏🙏

The Bruce banner is the one for me because by my thinking it doesn’t care what people think of it and from the way it’s built it’d do a great job of going wherever it wanted to go but mine would be linexed in black and I’m imagining what the Motorhome snobs would be thinking as I laid out my hunting bows and crossbows

Whilst it isn't the cheapest, I've always thought the Winnebago Revel has the best layout and specifications. However, having a differential lock would make this even more of an off road capable vehicle.

for me the most important thing about this van is that it is very narrow and very high and that is because of the rear-wheel drive. This Camper has in the rear windows some added protrusions to be able to sleep wide that you can buy it from the factory but if you want to camperize it then you hold on and you have to sleep along losing interior space. Being so high in size it has a double entrance step and about 18 cm more total height with which the wind and the wobbling become very very evident to solve this in the times we are going it would not be wrong to apply the technology of the Toyota 4x4 that is front-wheel drive and two electric motors that go to the rear wheels and thus does not have as much height of the ground or the height total of the body and of course it would be necessary to put a hybrid engine that it is time for Mercedes to savvy to the times that run.

Your narrative is striking; akin to a book that was striking in its thematic resonance. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze

only thing about the Mercedes is question is when it breaks down how hard will be to find someone to work on it. with the market in demand on these should get more company's making them and made more van manufacturers making them in 4x4

I just saw several Moterras in Jackson while traveling in my Coachmen Orion through Yellowstone and The Tetons and I was not impressed. The Karmann, Trakka, Tourig, Hymer and others look far better. And the ultimate build quality still seems to be the Storyteller Overland, I just wish it could seat and sleep 4 easily

The text size at the bottom of the screen is too large, it is covering a considerable part of the image!
