In Dalmatia for $170k you can buy some 40m2 of property (if lucky), or you need to look for properties that are at least 40km away from the coast.

I bought a vacation home for 70, 000euro 1 bedroom it was located in Burgas, Bulgaria. The property have a panorama view of the sea and a pool. This would cost me 300k in other countries but here i made a good decision nqo my property is worth around 100k if i were to sell it.

The great thing about these places are lack of climate extremes. So many of these videos are centered around overly hot climes …

We moved to Umbria from San Diego, CA 14 years ago. We love it. It's Tuscany without the high prices and hoards of tourists. The people here treat us like we belong here. . . . we do! We only miss San Diego weather and Mexican food.

Having lived in Cyprus for 13 years I can tell you that the property there is poorly built and your prices are way out. Expect as a foreign person to pay a lot more than you think. Basically you will be robbed as Cyprus is full of crooks and the food is not very good unless you go up into the old villages where the people are much nicer. I would recommend Alanya in Turkey as much better value

Some good ideas here. I moved to Portugal about 15 months ago and have taken it slow in terms of investment, but I agree the /Alentejo looks promising, though very hot in the summer and all of Portugal is going through a many year drought which throws everything up to question. I believe that’s happening in Spain as well. One place you didn’t mention which I think is a best kept secret of Europe is the second city of Greece, Thessaloniki. Or is it in Macedonia? It is not an island, it is on the peninsula but apparently is a really great small city I believe it has a university and I got to go visit!

Having visited Sarande earlier this summer I can categorically say it’s no place you’d be keen to live. The place feels weirdly empty with many restaurants and hotels that are completely devoid of customers. Very odd, must be money laundering etc.

CVT in Italy is not 2.9%, it is either 2% (if you are resident in the property) or 9% (if it is a second house)

I bought a single bedroom flat in Varna Bulgaria a two years ago for 31 000€ new build. Near by a bus stop and supermarkets. The beach and airport are not far also the internet speed is very good ! Everything you may need is already in Varna highly recommend 👌🏻🇧🇬🇪🇺

Just want to mention that foreigners can pretty much only live in Croatia for one year regardless of whether they own property, so unless it is an investment property, there is no point. Also, Slovenia has some restrictions on which foreign nationals can purchase real estate. Also that Bar is probably the crappiest European city I've ever been to. Sorry to seem negative as I do like the video- just sharing a f things for anyone thinking about buying in these spots.

From Bar, Montenegro :) Bar is the best town for general living and families in the coast of Montenegro. It is good for apartment renting and beach house renting (best). If you are looking to setup yourself or your business in Bar, Montenegro i can help with law, tax, finding properties for you and all in between. The prices of real estate has risen now due to many people from Russia and Ukraine coming in our country.
