Guys i dont know if this works for everyone but if you put genshin offscreen it speeds up the verifying a bit. Idk if its for everyone but it worked for me

Im only getting like 0.50% / 10 minutes… on ssd…

FIX: By verifying the file integrity in the start menu (so before you even launch the game) makes the speed faster once you do start up the game and verify your files.

that's one of the reasons why I quit this game. Out of all the games I played only genshin does this, no other game. It's so stupid and they somehow get away with it, their game is so successful despite this kind of BS.

This has made me angrily uninstall the game several times since launch. MyHoYo's technical support is also horrible, they never solved anything. 😑

There might be something that messing with the game code after each update and consider this game file size are rather big. Mine for some reason took 9 hours to finnish back then before Fontaine update it was relatively 1 to 2 hours. There is something in the game that might cause your HDD and even SSD getting screw.
Edit : I'm really suspicious with their DRM system might cause this aswell.

the more the time passes the less they will care about the game and the trashier it will become. simple as that. It's the exact reason I uninstalled it and not worth waiting a file fix like it's a whole update.
