Fox 40 Fuziun Review - Sound graphs - In a stadium

The Fox 40 Fuziun is a whistle used for a few sports. It is not a whistle you see every day. The Fox 40 Classic and Sonik Blast are in my opinion better. The sound is very similar to the Sonik Blast but it's not as loud. What's better is the size. It's easier to use in that matter.

I have been using the Fuziun for this season and I have to say it outcompetes the fox 40 classic and Sonik blast
It seems to hold more power whilst remaining that professional tone of higher pitcher whistles

excellent review. and I would have to agree with you. when you can have the Classic or Sonik Blast I don't see much appeal in the Fuziun.

Did you also find the fuziun difficult to use? More specifically compared to the classic and sonic blast respectively. I did find it a bit easier if you turn it upside down but still not quite what I was expecting from the description, I expected much better. The sonic blast is the easiest whistle to blow I have found yet.

I finally got my Fuziun as I get confused about the mixed comments on this whistle but one of my friend gave me as a personal gift (she is a referee too and she has the same idea as me). My idea is that it is really tricky to blow.

When I put it in my mouth I found an issue, it is somewhat not comfortable for me. I checked the size and find it not significantly different from Classic or Sonik Blast. But I do believe if you are like me with relatively narrow mouth (I know some girls have this problem, and so do I), this whistle could be headaching for you.

I tried to blow it and it only make a noise I feel acceptable when I blow it at least 80% of my full power. In comparison when I blow my Classic and Sonik Blast with 80%, both of them can make very loud noise (not extremely, I have to use 90% to make that). Thus, I would not recommend this whistle for someone without advanced blowing skills. I would say even I am able to blow whistles better than most referees and sports coaches/teachers I know, this whistle makes me feel suspicious about my whistle blowing skills.

Meanwhile, I am not sure about its price. It is somewhat costly compared to Classic and Sonik and I don't really know why. It is not very complicated nor using expensive materials. And the performance is also confusing to many.

There are some upsides, of course. I have to use a whistle for sports training and the shape of Fuziun is somewhat good for this case (I always make the front of the whistle face outward when I put it on a lanyard and wear it), the flat surface in the back makes me feel more comfortable than many other whistles.

Hi! Finally I've bought Fuziun and I find it REALLY hard to use - it's very difficult for me to achieve its low, thrilling tone. It comes out as it should be after maybe 3-4 blasts tried out, like you had to adjust blowing force exactly it needs! I mean something like very narrow blowing force tolerance. Did you have similar problems with Fuziun, or I'm not blowing it properly?

I really wanted to buy Fox 40 Sonik Blast, but in fact I don't like its sound, because in some test videos it doesn't sound characteristically 'thrilling' as other Fox's like Classic or Micro (I mean it has very very clear tone) and even too piercing for ear. Fuziun sounds about the same frequency as Sonik, but it's much more thrilling. Could you give me some advice? I prefer thrilling sound but I would like something really efficient like Sonik as well. Is Fuziun really so bad? I would use it sometimes for refereeing and more as signal and safety whistle while going outdoor, hiking or so.

In my opinion Fuziun sounds good, but it requires to be blown exactly it was designed to be (tongue and proper force). Moreover, I am still not convinced that these 'strange' Fox 40 whistle variations make sense and sell well, because in most sports 'the louder = the better" and "the easier to use = the better" and therefore no whistle will be better than Sonik Blast or Valkeen ...

Guys I don't know why but i think the opposite of what most of you are saying. I feel that whistle very powerful, i tested it and it feels like a Classic and a Sonik Blast fused in one. Maybe Fox 40 changed something in newer productions. I think that's one of the best whistles ever.
