I was using Photomath and it did this thing where it factored x from a sqrt(x^2 +5) and the x was negative and I was so confused why that was. I asked my teacher about it and he gave me the shortcut version in the end so I was still confused. Even after seeing the explanation in the video I’m still somewhat confused but At least it makes some sense now thanks!
