You forgot another important fact. Not only are the developing countries the manufacturing hub, they are also used as world's trash bin for recycling. This became news when Philippines sent ships full of unsegregated trash back to Canada. There was a video on a village in haryana that recycle old clothes turn them into blankets and export them back. Most of the clothes that came in looked as good as new

Being a Brazilian, that produces pollution to export goods to the developed countries, I still have issues to understand why the exporting countries do not put a kind of “pollution tag” on their products, making them much more expensive to the developed countries instead of blaming them for now asking a “greener” behavior... 🤔
