My First Impression of Porsche 911 997.1 GT3 | Review, Test Drive and Sound

I love a comfort spec GT3. Personally I think the collectability, hype and added value around the clubsport versions just means that they will never get used & enjoyed for what they do best. People are afraid of anything 15k miles. These aren't hypercars!

The comfort models, perhaps in particular the 997 were noticeably more of a car people people can have actually bought to use. They are all the better for it

I disagree. I drive a 996.2 GT3 Clubsport. Yes the interior looks cheap but the bucket seats make you feel special, the moment you are getting in. From the outside, the biggest downside of course the headlights although I must say, they aged pretty well. I put on the RS Carbon wing which changes the presence massively.
I terms of driving, the experience is just raw, you have to go way back to feel something similar. No PASM no gadgets, just you and the car. You can really feel the race car inside. When you do a cold start, first you think something is broken because strange noises are coming from the back the first few seconds. In my opinion a very special car, which is not estimated enough. By the way it did the sprint in 4.5 so no sludge at all
