An absolute pop masterpiece: great lyrics, great melody, great songwriter, great singers, great harmonies and great instrumentation. One of the best songs of all time, not just of the '80s. Nearly 40 years old now and still sounds fantastic. A genuine work of art in every way. Oh, and Susanna is absolutely beautiful.

Prince's genius is so encompassing and so deep. Probably, one of the songs he gave away because his label wouldn't allow him release so many songs. Regardless of how it ended up in the hands of the Bangles, it was written by a genius and performed by a wonderful group.

When I was a little boy I heard that song on the radio while playing with some scented candles and thought she said "It's just another MERRY Monday". Whenever I hear that song, I recall that fond memory from my childhood which always brings me a bright smile to my face.

I heard this song may be in 1980's or 1990's when I was a college going girl.I heard this song in a cassette of hits of the world, which I bought from here in my city Rawalpindi.I liked this song very much, moreover I use to sing with the original song when it is being played..Now I am 51 years of age and married for 23 years mashaAllah. You look like an Asian as your hair colour is dark brown, and the name of your band is bangles and bangles are mostly used and adored by the ladies and girls of Asia.We also use mehndi (a herbal dark brown powder of the dried leaves of a plant called mehndi leaves which is appreciated and widely used by our Holy prophet peace be upon him.).I still like this song very much as it describes the everyday routine of a European independent girl in a very nice way. It's music is also very nice.During my college days I heard it on my stereo player but nowadays I use to hear it through the deck in my house or the deck in my car while driving.Please keep on singing and making such good songs .A lot of prayers, appreciation and love from Rawalpindi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asia.
