The other 29997 cybertrucks have never been hooked to a trailer

“Cant use the Cybertruck as a truck”.
A surprise to absolutely no one that has actually used trucks as trucks before lol

I think that "infinity" symbol was accidentally put on it's side, It appears it should actually say 8... pounds

seams a lot of people in the comments haven't seen WhistlinDiesel's follow-up video. to sum it up he goes HAM on the ford to the point it bends the frame then drive it while its bent yanking on a chain attached to a concrete block it still doesn't snap the crudely bends it back still doesn't snap and proves it still drives.

The Cybertruck is a danger to everyone on the road, including the driver because it has basically no crumple zone

And i don't know if you heard about the wrap situation, but it seems like vinyl wraps, or the glue, or the exposure of sunlight on some parts vs not on others is oxidizing the stainless steel faster and causing corrosive etching...

That seems like it could easily kill someone. Is it legal to overrate for towing like that???

I'm not an engineer but even I know that Aluminum is not made for that stuff.

This is a dealbreaker for me. I would never purchase a truck with such a fatal design flaw. The truck can't be used as a truck!

For a similar reason, cast iron is no longer used to construct bridges. While strong in compression, it can be brittle and weak in compression.

That body design looks like somebody welded a bunch of scrap metals together in their garage.

Whistlin Diesel also showed what happens to steel when you do a similar thing. it just bends. it was still drivable

For a space truck that’s supposed to be usable on mars if boof. It’s crappy aluminum frame will snap crackle and pop on uneven terrain

The fact that 30, 000 of those have sold is the most ridiculous thing about this!

Imagine being a Cybertruck owner, driving down the road, and have just about everyone snicker at you as you drive past.

I happy with my lightning ⚡️. I can definitely tow with it and don’t have concerns about it.

Aluminum is a bad choice for a truck frame. Cast Aluminum on a truck frame is almost criminal. As a welder fabricator I've studied metallurgy and the idea of a cast anything frame is ridiculous it might maybe work on a car but definitely not a truck. The problem with cast is it cannot flex because its brittle they handle compression great but they cannot resist being in tension or impacts very well wich is exactly the opposite of what you want In a frame. I like elon musk but I think the cybertruck was a bit of a mistake and he really should've stayed out of it or made a more conventional truck. There's a reason they haven't changed in so long. Because they work well the way they are. Take the semi for example yeah it's electric but the fundamentals are the same it's still a relatively normal semi truck.

My favorite part of the WD cybertruck saga is when he picks up the F-250 and drops it directly on the hitch from like 6 ft in the air and it doesn't fall off. And then he does it again. And then again. And again. And again. And again. And again. And then he does it again. And then he does it again. And then again. And then again.
