literally going through this prophecy, my brothers an alcoholic and really abusive guy, hes 34 and my parents bought him a big house with pool, just to enable his addictions more, to call prosititutes over, just like in the prophecy. Im doing my best to move forward, but my parents keep obessively and compulsively insisting that i talk to him, but despite any efforts, it just gets worse, and he even phsyically attacked my 60 year old father, as well as me over the years. wtf do i do?

Was the younger son supposed to represent unconverted people, or was the younger son supposed to represent someone who is already saved, but who becomes backslidden? Is the older son supposed to represent a dutiful unsaved religious person, or a believer who needs to corrected?
