Add little India, Mustapha, Bedok town centre, and of course Geylang sans the seedier sides, to your immersion course. Appreciate your efforts to get to know Sg. Hawker centre visits seem to be the in thing as well. Go deeper into Brickworks, Redhill (just bedsides Redhill station) hawker centres.🎉❤

Thank for your interest in Singapore 😊 yes indeed, Singapore is 麻雀虽小五脏具全。If to explore beyond the tourist attraction areas, (even at neighborhood/HDB estate) there are so much to discover.

This is a Burmese Buddhist temple, aesthetic wise is quite different from Chinese or Thai Buddhist temple. I stumble upon it visiting ZhongShan museum. If I recalled correctly, The house was owned by great grandfather of SM Teo Chee Hean who used it to host Dr Sun, founder and first President of modern China who overthrew the Qing dynasty made plans in that house, and whose party lost the China civil war to the communist and fled to Taiwan and “founded Taiwan”. I was pretty intrigued too to find out that such important historical events happened there when I visited the house.

As a Singaporean having not gone to Sun Yat Sen memorial hall in a while, it brought me a lot of memories.

Hi, i was watching your video again. Nice video indeed. Temple and Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. I've been to the colonial house, it's nice to learnt historical story over there. But the temple never been there before. Looks very interesting temple. I went to Kong Meng Shan Temple at Bishan. Its huge. Nornally during Vesak day people will go there. Diverse culture... Well i taught America is more diverse or other country. That's my comment. 😊☺️

😊🙏 Vesak Day is a Commemorative Day of the Birth, Enlightenment & His Entering into Parinirvana Day ( Entering into His Pureland in the Tusita Sukhavati Pureland ) of Sakyamuni Buddha some 2, 600 years ago in Northern India ... The bathing of the Sakyamuni Buddha signified the act of cleansing the pourer's bad karma away ... On the other hand, Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pureland was an Ancient Buddha that was introduced by Sakyamuni Buddha to make it easier for future Buddhists to enter into a Buddhaland by Doing Good & reciting NAMO AMITABHA Buddha mantra respectfully & faithfully so as to be guided into His Western Pureland when we depart from this mundane world ... 🙏 NÅMÖ ÅMÏTÅBHÅ Buddha @ ÖM ÅMÏ ĐÈWÅ HŘÏH ( Amitabha's heart mantra ) 🙏 🌷🌿🌏✌💜🕊

History provides a country the continuity of culture, where its roots began. History can bond the people together with a common destiny. Each generation should strive to improve over the previous generation. Hence every country should have a museum to show case how the country has progressed.

Hi Kamo Koala, Singapore culture seems just as diverse as in U.S. America, just with a stronger asian influence. I read somewhere that approx 90% of the world's population believes in a god. But in the U.S., it seems like a coin toss. Your monk video was fascinating. Thanks for sharing your travels. 🙏

Sun Yat Sen has been an important part of Chinese History. Known as a revolutionary figure who figures in the downfall of the Qing Dynasty in early 20th Century.
