We at NIMS have been performing a demonstration of fiber fuse for our visitors since 2009.
Just one look will leave you fascinated with the bright spot of light running along an optical fiber.
However, only a few of you probably know the research conducted on this phenomenon by a researcher in NIMS.
In this video, we briefly show how we focused on this running target and revealed the mechanism of its strange behavior.
