Fast Up & Down Piston Elevator [Compact 4x6]

That's right ladies and Gents! Today I present to you, one of the smallest Up & Down piston elevator in the community right now and may I just say how fantastically awesome it is!

Hello Everyone! My name is Mumbo (Or Oli) and I make Minecraft videos. I concentrate on the technical side of things, Especially working with redstone. Creating mechanisms you guys can enjoy, and tutorials so that you can learn a bit about how it all works! 99% of my Builds work in Vanilla Survival Minecraft, Some will even work on Minecraft 360! However most are meant for PC Gamers.

I figured out how to get the button to the front of your elevator! Place a repeater by the button he showed in the video and then just place redstone to wherever you want the button to be in the front!

nice work, easy to understand, extremely repetitive on the bits where people could easily get lost, highly explanative to understand the mechanisms behind it, no time wasted explaining recipes  rate this 9/10 only downside I can find is the width of it which doesnt bother me too much since my elevator is integrated into a cave wall, hiding all the messy bits, making the glass sit plumb on my cave wall, keep the vids coming my friend

I am lazy, so I don't want to jump even once. that is why I build the floor level one block higher. There are a few problems with that though. There is a hole in the ground because the bottom piston needs to push you up, and you can not go up because there is no block to stop you from getting pushed out. so I build two monostable circuits. One rising edge and one falling edge monostable circuit. They are linked up to a piston which will take out the block in the floor so the other piston can be pushed in, and I made a piston door from the same output. It works pretty well and it looks a lot better :D

Anyone having trouble with the Buttons pause the video at 0:09 to see the up circuit and pause at 2:17 to see the down circuit.

Love the "don't do that thing that you probably just paused the video to do which I demonstrated because you'll have to replace all your pistons afterward". Now I've got one column of pistons that always detach from the sticky pistons and I can't seem to resolve it.

i am sure u didn't finish the video, how can we complete the elevator if you don't teach us how to push the button when we go up the elevator? so what i mean is that the button is in the side of the elevator so we can't ride this elevator at all.

For The bottom of the elevator I want to hook up a button how do I do that? You never showed us how to do that. I figured out the top one by looking very closely at your finished elevator. Please Help!
