I’ve been getting tons of the fake HF emails: the Stanley tool set, a Dewalt power station, Milwaukee drill; I’m just waiting for the kitchen sink at this point

I have gotten several of these, but mine aren’t a scam. In fact, I bought that Bauer Miter Saw for $59, and it’s going to be delivered to me by a Nigerian prince who’s also bringing me $2.5M. And all I had to do was give him access to my checking account! It’s the best deal I ever got, except for that “Double Your IQ or No Money Back!” offer I sent away for 5 1/2 years ago. It’s coming soon. I’m sure it was just supply chain issues!

Ive also seen scam sites for Craftsman, and even Kobalt tools. And just like these, all of em were around $40-$80, even the bigger tool boxes lol. I guess there's more people that fall for the super cheap and unrealistic prices rather than something that just seems like a good discount

I have also seen scam sites for Costco and Macy's supposedly selling Electric Bicycles at clearance prices(90% off, etc) Around $40. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the great video! I have gotten several of these. The first dead giveaway was the subject line - "Free Stanly Tool Set for (Insert Last Name). Harbor Freight would not be sloppy enough to just have my last name and not capitalized.

I got the fake HF ad for the Stanley tool kit too and had the same initial thought, "Harbor Freight doesn't sell Stanley tools". I get so much spam like this and spend a lot of time going through my email delete, delete, delete. My problem isn't falling for them but accidentally deleting a legitimate email.

I've been getting a scam email almost every day. The whole thing doesn't look legit when you open the email. They are persistent for sure

I've got them from Home Depot, Lowes, Stanley, DeWalt, Ace Hardware and more. Sad thing is too many people are so gullible that they believe it and enter the survey giving out their information. #facepalm

I regularly get similar spam email from a site claiming to be Home Depot congratulating me that I've been selected to receive something free. I've never even opened one.

i get youtube ads top right hand corner of video layout that are totally a scam, advertising two hundred dollar stuff for one dollar. just a whole bunch of different things and different co. names all have to be scams because your not going to get a dewalt cordless tool set for two dollars. whats up with those and why does youtube put these bogus ads on their video layout pages

I've been getting emailed variants on this scam for months from all the major retailers. I just mark them as spam and they are disappearing from my inbox. Never open these links.

I got a email today from Home Depot saying that if I take a quick survey they would enter me into a drawing to win a free Ryobi lawnmower. I think it was a scam as Home Depot doesn’t give away free Ryobi lawnmowers so I deleted it.

Hacker Valley, WV is right over the hill from me. The G Design LLC is a business that is registered with the West Virginia Secretary of State with the business license having been revoked. I could take you all a little deeper down the rabbit hole with other information that I found, but hey… we’re all here for the reviews and deals!
