Deepcool AK620 humming issue

just a heads up to anyone looking to buy this cooler. it hums at multiple different RPMs, including idle temps. what's shown here is the loudest i got it for the video. appearenly this is a design flaw and not a manufacturing defect, according to Deepcool support.

Just slap two Arctic P12 on it and call it a day. For 20$ it may even improve your temps

its a known issue with these deepcool fans. just mount any other 120mm 25mm thickness fans. i went with silent wings pro 4 for aesthetics. expensive but worth it for me

I had the same thing... Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM solution (all fasteners fit from the original fan)

Arctic P12 max exista, it alsp has rubber mount for this specific reason

I have the exact same sound with the AK500. Maybe it's because I'm an old fart, but I find it pleasant, in a retro geeky way. From what I tested, it's the fan itself that makes the noise, and not the sound going through the cooler, so replacing them should work.

Got the same air cooler. I play games with my headphone on. So the noise never bothers me.

I have exactly the same thing, bloggers advertised this radiator to us, and it makes noise with these high-purity howls.

Is that the fractal pop case? If so, I have the same case and have this issue with the 120mm Assassin King SE. No idea why yet, seems to be the tower that is vibrating?

Damn, I wish I would've known about this issue before I bought mine from micro center (which is 3 hours away from me). Not worth the drive to return it. Thankfully mine isn't as noticeable as yours, it's more subtle.

i'm just looking for ak620 vs ls520s comparison. since i own ak620 i think yours have a issue itself mine is quiet even in 1800 rpm and sometimes i do open case i never hear anything. the only thing i hear when my GPU fans go 2300 rpm lol

mine is revving louder than my fucking 8" monitor speakers, I have to wear a headset while gaming or I cant fucking hear anything over the fan noise, how do io fix this, should have spent the extra $ on liquid cooling cause this thing is a fucking waste
