When UK approve there is always a catch.
They never do it for free.

Empty talks. No one actually tabled anything formally. Not the US, not France... not Russia...not UK.

The choice of India will cause problems with Pakistan and Africa must still choose its member states at the next OAU meeting, South America will.probably be Brazil and the Caribbean will be Jamaica Oceania probably will be Australia

India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, turned down several alleged opportunities for India to join the United Nations Security Council as a permanent member in the 1950s. What's changed now?

It is nonsense that Germany will be included Europe already has 6 members including, Britain, France Italy, Russia and now Germany the inclusion of Japan is understandable East Asia had a considerable population, only Africa and South America and the Caribbean and Oceania are left out

Instead veto, there should be two rounds of voting, one among all the members and second among permanent members. Veto concept should be abolished.

Even the US would want to protect its veto power, and though has endorsed India gaining a permanent seat in principle, it won't do so in practice. US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns said in 2008 that the country would want to preserve the veto and "do not want to extend a veto to new permanent members."

Many also suggest India's foreign policy- non-commital stance Western interests, including in Russia-Ukraine conflict, could be a reason for the Western nations to adopt such a stance in principle.

what a lie, "India is founding member of the UN"?? The United Nations came into existence on October 24, 1945, after 29 nations had ratified the Charter. At the time there was no a country in the whole world called India, how could it be a founding member of the UN???

the requirement to be a permanent member of UNSC with veto power is to have had H bomb (with at least millions of tons of TNT, not just 50 k t TNT as India had). China's first H bomb is with 3.3 million tons of TNT equivalent.
