I was born the same month and year (October 1985) Rush first released this song! It’s one of my FAVs!

I saw them open with this song in '89 in Rhode Island. Awesome!

Absolute masters of their craft. A great example of a song from their so-called "synth" era. Thank you for the reaction. Song reflects the era in many ways.

Great song. Off my fav Rush album “Power Windows”. For me the song is about the power of big money, good and bad and it effects. Check the lyrics. The whole album is an insight into power, hence the name.

The 1st time I saw RUSH was on the Power Windows tour...and it was the 1st show of the tour in Portland Maine.

Never actually heard this song before. I love his bass playing a lot! And being able to sing AND play anything is super impressive, especially with the intricacy that Geddy plays his bass lines.

Love it when you react to my favorite band of all time, RUSH! Your excitement for their music is fantastic and can't wait for you to listen to more. One suggestion is something way cool called 'The Pass'. It will definitely move you.

Wow, I have not heard this song in years! The video to this song, as I do recall, was aired a lot during the MTV years. It also received a lot of air time on Michigan radio! Just about everyone I went to school with was a huge RUSH fan. I am proud of my fellow CANUCK guys! Glad to see the two of you enjoyed this song & video. Another fantastic reaction video! You both are spot on with your comments. Can't wait to see what the two of you react to next. Love & Blessings!

This song is just wild with musicianship. It's my favorite Rush tune, and there are so many.

Thanks for reacting to this one, you guys!

I remember exactly when and where I was the first time I heard this - Oct 14, 1985, the album's release date, sitting in the Carls Jr drive-thru waiting for a shitty burger, on KLOS 95.5 out of LA. It sooo captures the essence of 1985, while still being Rush. I love the "keyboard era", though many Rush fans don't.

I think I was in grad school when this came out. Somehow, the song made me really consider aspects of my chosen career: the integrity of the research process balanced against societal and governmental drivers. Rush has always been good for stimulating deep thoughts :^) Anyway, thanks for your great reaction to one of Rush's more obscure offerings!

Hey girls!!! Really rocking those Rush T shirts!!! If you want to hear how Neil changed the tempo to highlight one of Alex's best guitar solos ever, I recommend "Limelight, " also from Exit Stage Left.

I'm actually really touched to see this again after so many years. My brothers and I watched this over and over when we were young. Only Rush could do a song like this. I don't think the song is about one aspect of money but all aspects of how money works in the world

Been a Rush fan for about 17 years (I got to see them live in Chicago in 2008 and 2010...that last one was a do-over show because of rain, and we all got baseball caps to make up for it. I still have mine!)

I appreciate seeing so many great Rush fans, both young and old. This was an excellent video. Hope you both keep having fun and enjoying the music!

Geddy not only sings and plays electric bass, he also plays keyboards/synths, plus foot pedal bass while he's playing the keys!
