I have had it 17 years, RA, OA, and Fibromyalga 5 yrs. I take Humira, take long very warm baths after taking Tylenol 1350 mg. I find that it relaxes my muscles and eases joint pain, and helps with deeper sleep. I keep myself warm because the coolness makes it worse. Soaking.hands in warm water in the morning helps warm joints up, increase mobility of fingers, reduces pain. I use Voltaren gel.that helps after a warm bath. I use carpet, and I find snug fitting socks and shoe inserts like gel that helps a little too.
Walk on grass if possible, not cement floors, use electric carts when shopping when I am fatigued or in a flare up I rest more, try to distract myself with music, movies, and sounds of rain etc., Heating pads help, gloves while sleeping help relax joints. Warm teas to sip on, and tell people that I have an autoimmune disease and it hurts alot and I get really tired and must lie down during the day, I'm 73 y.old.

Now after 7 years of bearing with the pain it is getting so bad I can not sleep, so taking sleep meds is a must. Those wonderful walks in the park have turned to hobbling around the bedroom :( I was prescribed Gabapentin for pain but afraid of the side effects of strong meds.

I have been progressively getting stiffer and have more pain in the morning. It has gotten so bad I struggle to get dressed and put my shoes on. Some-days are not as bad as others. Today I took 400mg Ibuprofen and I pain seemed to nearly go away completely although I could still feel it. I will reach out to my Dr ASAP.
