I worked in the very dangerous Port Newark in NJ 40 years ago. I applied for the so called gun permit. They wanted me to jump through a shit load of hoops, so I just bought a gun from a coworker named Rocco that sold guns from his car trunk. A year later I moved to the Free State of Florida and I easily got a gun as it should be.

Permits and fees are unconstitutional both open and concealed carry. In Vermont we have no permit requirements and we have the lowest gun crime rates both absolute and per capita.
