I just applied for global entry, pending application review, traveling to Germany mid September. I’m guessing that it won’t be completed by then? Although when I come back into the United States, I’m wondering if I could just get my interview right there at the Washington Dulles airport🤔

Use the Global Entry app on your arrival from an International flight, fill out the form, take pix, submit and save the form / receipt. Show the form / receipt on your phone when you get to the Global Entry queue, Immigration Officer still needs to confirm / verify your receipt (takes less than a minute). Then you're cleared!

Is it required to do the facial scan with the new machines to use global entry? Or can you opt out?

I just used it today it was awesome, the machine just took a picture of me and officer called my name and he said welcome to the states and that was it

Do you really need to meet an officer in person? I was told the whole purpose of getting Global Entry was not to stand in line to meet an immigration officer, but your video says something else?

What is the point if your still see an immigration officer ?

This technology is very backwards. Why is an officer needed. This is not technological advancement, this is not automation, this is not efficient.
