Though find the story a touch on the exaggeratory side. The point of the story is a valuable one none the less. I became interested, well obsessed with firearms about four years ago or so. I did not want to be one of those guys that had a firearm, but did not know anything about it or how to use it. In those for years, I have learned so much about firearms. Now I know I have not even breached the tip of the information mountain. But I can fully disassemble all of my firearms, clean them, work on them, clear malfunctions. I've even started learning how to reload ammo. Training and knowledge is everything!

I find it hard to believe "your friend" didn't know how to pull back and release the bolt since it is literally just like how 90% of all semi auto rifles are.

So true buy a cheaper rifle and then get training. If you have no idea how to run a rifle.
