Prob shoulda just told your guys to work in metric and not standard. Should have appointed a good engineer and a translator to review both sides plans and compare them and redid them until both sides agreed and were the exact same plans. Also trying to do this in an authoritarian state is just asking for bullshit to happen. They want to show that freedom for people is shit and their side is superior in every way possible and it really isnt so anything requiring their input is going to be extremely dangerous for you
