Bill Russell seems to have fallen out of the GOAT discussion in the last 30 or so years. He was 6'9" in the era dominated by Centers yet he beat all comers (Bob Petit, Nate Thurmond, Wes Unseld, Walt Bellamy to name a few. Russell dominated !!! Like most great champions ( MJ, Bird, Magic, Duncan, Kobe) Russell refused to lose. If I'm starting a team my first pick would be Russell, the man with 11 NBA Championship rings & 2 NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS. 13 RINGS IN 15 YEARS. BILL RUSSELL = GOAT.
