Misir Carsisi - Spice Market
Popularly known as Spice Bazaar - It is a huge market with all the spices and supplies you could ever need for cooking. Every seller is kind, and they will allow you to try the spice if you choose, as well as work with you to determine the spices you require for specific dishes.

The spice market is a bit smaller and less crowded than the Grand Bazaar. Although not as hectic as the main bazaar, it is nonetheless extremely busy. Clean and well-kept. Although not cheap, the quality is excellent. It's well worth a visit.

Kapali Carsi or popularly known as Spice Bazaar or Spice market - is a vast shopping area with hundreds of kiosks selling nearly anything. It has a maze of alleys that is conveniently roofed. I would strongly recommend that you give it a go when you visit Istanbul. The majority of the shops sell, well, spices... and tea, as well as gold, purses, shoes, carpets, and a variety of other items. The quality is outstanding, despite the fact that it many are expensive for an ordinary tourist. It's well worth your time to go.
