I feel bad for Kaori, because she KNEW she never had a chance with kousei due to her slowly dieing and tsubaki having a crush on him. She didn't reveal she had feelings for him until after she died and wrote in the letter to tell tsubaki sorry for coming in between her and kousei.

I relate to this too much, im always the replacement or the friend people go to only when they want to vent and just leave me. I can't fall in love with my friends because I End up loosing them even the friends I have a good relationship with always leaving me for other better prettier funnier and nicer people. Just there temporary replacement until I'm just let go.
