Testing a Cheap Painting Kit

Hey Guys! Today I am testing out another art and craft kit. It has been SUCH a long time since I've done a review for a creative kit like this. In the past, I've seen pretty bad results with these, but this time i was determined to make something cute out of it, no matter how crappy the kit was. Hope you enjoy the video!

I am testing out the Genius Art Mold and Paint Cupcakes kit. They have a whole line of the mold and paint kits with all kinds of different shapes to choose from. It is pretty simple and involves making plaster and molding it into cute shapes, then decorating with paint. I took it a step further and had to do quite a bit of troubleshooting. Also decided to turn my plaster cupcakes into DIY pins. I also think making magnets, ornaments or keychains out of these would be cool. The kit has a lot of imperfections, but it did keep me busy for several days, so it can be a good creative activity to do when you're bored.

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 25 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. Moriah!!!! With plaster, it is best to mix with your hands, to make sure you get all the lumps out. If you do plaster casting again, I would recommend coating the bowl in a LIGHT layer of Vaseline, the make clean up easier. Also, you should have worn a dust mask!! The holes are air pockets, if you want them gone, you would tap the mold to bring the air bubbles up to the surface. As someone with some experience in plaster, this kit was trash....oof

Wait...IDEAS



1. So what if Moriah paints a Squishy using an inverted/negative color wheel...that’s basically where for instance yellow is blue and like colors are opposite...so what if she painted a squishy like that and then when she puts the filter on it looks normal...it’s hard to explain so look up inverted color wheel or negative color wheel

2. make a Georgie Squishy

3. She should get a company to make Squishies of some of her squishy makeovers so we can buy dem
