I havent heard anyone else saying this yet, so here i go:

President Trump told Fox news reporter Harris that "bad things happen" immediately prior to the recent assasination attempt. Trump and Harris spoke about this again at a reporters event a few days ago. Trump talked about how hes not taking anything for granted and hinted at the possibility of something bad possibly happening to him, in which case he was happy for JD Vance to be in his sted.
Therefore, using the song "My heart will go on" - although he's used it before - is more relevant and apt for his situation than ever before. It seems to me he is communicating comfort ahead of time, to the people that support and love him, in the event of something bad happening to him. Not something i want to think about, but he's being courageous and practical to address it.❤

I am sure it wasn't "unauthorized" use. No, he probably didn't ask her specifically for permission. He isn't required to either. Songs are usually register with companies that distribute and licence songs for use. If one pays for a licence then the company doesn't care how one uses it. It is NOT the individual artists that give permission. Trump's team, most likely, has aquired the license to use it. I have a song, that I wrote, that I happened to find via gooling, that 2 tiktok users used in their videos. Although I did like the videos. I was never asked personally if they could do that. They licenced it via the third party company I had registered it with. All legal.
