The thing that makes this game perfect is that it keeps the same level of fun in both gameplay and music throughout the whole game.

You know I’ve had this in my head for a while, but I think Peppino Spaghetti may be the most relatable character I’ve seen in a video game.

He’s a grown man who’s always worried about something (especially money according to this opening), he frequently subjects himself to all kinds of unbearable malarkey just to get through to his goals, he clearly has a lot to lose if something were to happen to his only source of income (that being his pizzeria), and above it all he chooses to push on no matter what happens to him.

Just like the average adult in modern society.

I love how the intro feels like the typical intro of 90s arcade machine games and mixed with a music like kind futuristic and nostalgic vibes.
