man, i remember watching the pilot to the official tv series, it felt like discovering something new. but you can beat the 2003 version, the episodes were nostalgic as hell.

Also, there was a spin-off show that was supposed to come after PT2003, it was called “After the Tower Fell” and it was supposed to take place after the events of Pizza Tower, showing the everyday lives of Peppino and his new friends. There was a lot of hype regarding this show. sadly, it only got to storyboarding, and PT2003 was cancelled before the first episode even aired. Shame.

I think the 2010-2012 reboot was the best "stage" the show could've been on, i kinda don't like the new reboot's artstyle, and the original cartoon got cancelled.

I think the new reboot sucks, not for making Gustavo Peppino’s partner (although i preferred them has friends because their interactions never showed any kind of love outside of brotherhood) but for the lacking Art style, while decent for another cartoons this is pizza tower we are talking about, the movements are slow and rigid, the expressions too simple and the colors are too dry

Is not a bad artstyle by any means but is just not fitting for pizza tower specially by how Peppino has such a drastic redesign when the others have just slight changes to their designs

And now for the shipping part, has a man I hate shipping but I don’t hate Peppino x Gustavo for being gay but because I just don’t see any of the two in any kind of relationship outside friends specially by how peppino never showed to love romantically anyone and how Gustavo seemed just being a happy guy. I don’t like it because it kinda takes away from characters and feels like a forced way to make everyone have a romantic partner when in reality not everyone needs one

And refusing to put classic characters like Noisette in favor of new ones like noisina just shows whoever made this doesn’t really understand pizza tower

I’ll give it a try but I know from the get go it’ll won’t be anything like any of the previous incarnations for better or for worse

Ok so heres an overview of the 3 shows we had and what I forsee in the future for the reeboot. In the OG pizza tower pilot, theres not much to talk about, It was a very played out gimmik of "Oh, bad guy try to kill hero but hero just keeps unintentionally avoiding villan death trap" it wentvon for about 2 minutes and even though it wasnt very interesting storywise, the reason it was so beloved and enjoyed by literally everyonecwas that it had so much of a unique style and charm, none of the backgrounds were plain or sloppy, the deseighns were rough and the voice acting was top notch for its time. Give this pilot 1 year and it flowered into the show everyone loves and adores to this day, It kept that visual charm the pilot had by just, enhancing the details, no facial expression was normal or blank, even when nothing was going on in episode 12 where peppino, the noise and pepperman were locked in a sewer together, the noise was smoking, peppino looked scared and pepperman looked indifferent, the thing about the basic story in the pilot somehow stayed simple but was funny and charming in its own way, the reveal in episode 39 which was the series finale, pizzahead wasnt just a twist "It was actually me" villain because during the B-plot episodes, we are very clued in its him and he still has TONS of personality despite never actually talking or not smiling. Now, weve had 2 home runs and like a lot of reeboots, "pizza tower:Return of pizzahead" was and is quite the mixed bag with fans, some adore it for keeping the pizza tower charm and most voice actors and giving every character at least 3-5 episodes based on them. Funily enough, all 4 fake pep episodes were fantastic, with every one of them making him out to be a goofy little meeper that lives in peppinos shadow but wants to be on his level instead of completely outclassing him, and thats anothervthing, this show managed to extend every characters traits into something resembling a average character archetype but twisted them just enough to make every character unique, but then theres what people dont like, many thought that bringing pizzahead back as the main villan again was lazy considering that in the final fight, peppino literally just, nuked pizzahead, and people didnt actually like gustavo and brick appearing in more episodes becuase in the original show, they never really served much of a purpose and that was barely changed, the style is still silly and unique with diverse designs and expressions but there was something about the original style that felt right so people were mixed in that, second, the show bagan to fall into the pitfall many shows fall into where episodes were sometimes EXTREMELY short, this show had 2 seasons but I remember watching the whole thing in 2 days meanwhile, the OG pizza tower show had 1 season but I finished it in 2 days. So both shows were 2 day long shows but the 2010 reeboot had 2 seasons instead of 1, so now that thats taken care of, I need to discuss the new pizza tower, I hate how they just called it pizza tower, because thats implying thatvthis is supposed to replace the OG pizza tower cartoon but several things are wrong in just the intro, 1 very major thing is that peppino looks more human, thus taking away a little bit of that visual appeal, 2 the entire thing that we know pizza tower for is its diverse and interesting facial expressions and with a human peppino, we dont have a lot of that, pizzafaces faces look just like some memes from somewhere, the fact I can only assume that gustavo and peppino are gay here isnt extremely awful but the showcis falling into the pitfall of "Were gonna take characters who are well known and try to be inclusive by making them gay" sure, the joke at the end of the OG pizza tower where gustavo kissed peppino, then brick kissed peppino and fake peppino tryed was hilarious but not becuase we saw gay characters, it was hilarious becuase of the dialog, the expressions not the gay references and sure, going that far to say that making characters in a show gay is bad but c'mon, did amyone really ask for that, and the other thing thats off is the fact this show is coming around trying to pull in money because you can feel the lack of effort. Lets hope we get proven wrong and the show manages to stay true to its high paced action packed joy of a cartoon it once was...

Essentially cartoon network shows in a nutshell where there is the pilot then the og then after that is the reboot dropping everything to do things nobody wants, teen titans go is a good example especially when that show itself starts to mock its own jokes and style. Then the modern iteration is usually bashed and sometimes controversial for a few reasons
