We were in the market for a large 3 row SUV. I wanted to consider the new Traverse but my wife was not having it. We leased a 2019 Traverse and she hated it. No major issues but a bunch of bad design choices that made living with it, awful. We ended up going with a Grand Highlander Hybrid Platinum. Absolutely no regrets.

I hear there's a premiere aldo..can you show me the difference between the 3.6 engine and this new 2.5 engine with gas mileage both city and hwy?
Us if I have the key in my pocket will the tailgate just open all by itself just by walking by it? Or standing there? On my 2021 I have where I put my foot under the bumper but I have to have the key on me..

Thought about the Traverse for a quick minute. I’m not a fan of buying first year models. Went with a Palisade Calligraphy instead Steel Graphite instead. So far, very happy. Had an Explorer ST prior, lots of quality issues.

We purchased a 2024 Hyundai palisade in August and I ended up really disliking that it had almost no comforts (memory seat, 360 cameras…etc) After taxes and all it was $50k I feel like it should have had more for the price. I know the higher trims have these things but I personally liked the sporty all blacked out look of the XRT but you can’t get that in higher levels except the night shade edition I believe and I wasn’t trying to be car poor so we went with it. We traded after a month for a 2024 Chevy Traverse RS and so far I really am happy we upgraded! It has more room + features than the palisade and the seats are far more comfortable. The engine is one that they are already using in their trucks so it isn’t new per say. My husband specifically asked about the motor as well as the car being easy to work on for a DIY mechanic as he usually does all of our oils changes and what not at home. It was the right choice for our family.
