This is a variation of the trick Dai Vernon did to Houdini. It was an ambitious card routine; so named because the spectator's chosen card always wants to get to the top of the deck.

Depending on what kind of audience I’m booked for, I open with this. It’s not only fast but extremely easy as well…and it’s one of the few tricks that you can quite literally do over and over again. It’s one of literally a handful of tricks you’re supposed to do over and over.

I've been interested in card tricks. I've noticed that most magicians have the deck in the left hand. I prefer the deck in my right hand. I hope it's not a beginner's error that I'll regret later.
