China-Taiwan tensions: China issues 'stern warning' to Taiwan with military drills

China says major military drills held around Taiwan are a "stern warning to the separatist acts of Taiwan independence forces".

Tensions in the Taiwan Strait remain high, with China viewing the island as a breakaway province, with which it promises to one day reunify.

The "Joint Sword-2024B" drills saw China use 153 military aircraft in war games around Taiwan, a new daily record.

There's no way China can cross the ocean and land in Taiwan. There's only few spots where landing ships can get through, everything else has bad waters and bay ain't fit for landing. Even though, there's hundreds of miles of opened ocean between China and Taiwan.
Russia had issues with crossing 2km wide range Dnieper river in Ukraine, now imagine crossing hundreds of miles of ocean, under direct visibility and fire from anti-ship missiles, drones, etc.
P.S: Russia didn't even try to land their army into Odessa cause it was impossible.
Ye, China has numbers, but Taiwan has natural defense line which is Ocean and it's impossible to deliver successfully their numbers into Taiwan. Tens of millions of soldiers could lose their life crossing that area and honestly, China doesn't even have enough ships to transport even 500k soldiers through open ocean.
Soviet Union during Battle of Dnieper which is only 2km wide, lost around 1 million soldiers. Now imagine this one through ocean?
Taiwan has enough anti-ship missiles to sink Chinese fleet 5 times over if not more
