Anyone new who sees this. THIS IS MY HORSE. She is fine. She was extremely excited to run because we had just finished barrels. We didn’t plan to go that fast. It’s not abuse we have done this before.

I’d really suggest not riding double. The area where the other girl was sitting is where the horses kidneys are located, and it can cause a lot of damage and distress if you ride like that. Especially when galloping.

Edit: Sorry I meant kidneys, not liver. Got scrambled in my brain.

The saddle is for ONE person. How hard is it to comprehend? The poor horse.. and while galloping, too?! Gosh. Who educated you and said this is okay?

The back rider was sitting on the horses kidneys, a sensitive area, and that caused her to buck while also going fast. They are probably all fine, it’s just a very common place for horses to get triggered for bucking

The reason she actually freaked out was because anywhere past the 18th vertebrae is very sensitive also doubl riding is really harsh on their backs

Thats why you don’t do two people. A lot of people think its fine. But in reality its not. Horses have what we call “floating spine” meaning the spine is practically floating after the ribs. And it is right above the kidneys and when you ride double it puts the horse in extreme pain. Which is another reason to have the saddle not to far back on the horse nor to far forward as the neck is there.

Kids being kids. We did all kinds of crazy things with our horses when we were kids. Everyone, including our horses, survived.

To my friend happens something like this, but he didn't fall, his horse did a big jump because got scared by a dog and his horse was galopping to 2 boys, he stopped the horse before it hurt the two guys 😨, I was behind him.
