The Paramilitary 2 is Spyderco’s definitive knife. It combines strength and precision with a large, agile blade to do both big and small jobs with strength and precision. On top of that, there’s a strong aftermarket support so you can make your Paramilitary 2 just how you want it.

I was doing light woodcrafting with my pm2 and the blade snapped. Spiderco wouldn't honor their warranty even though it was a clearly bad heat treat making the blade way more brittle than it should have been.

I've got 2, I thought they were the ultimate, until I've recently got a Military, in S110v,
Sheer perfection...

Pro tip: get a deep-carry clip. It changes the ease-of-carry immeasurably.

I own two Paramilitary 2 knives. One with an S30V Tanto blade and one with purple G-10 scales and a black coated CruWear blade.

I bought Mars valley carbon fiber scales for my Kapara. But I almost got a PM 2 instead. I already have a para 3 so most of these itches are scratched with that. I was looking at that maxamet version. Will eventually get one.

I have two Paramilitary 2 a standard with a black blade and one with a Tonto blade and I am not the biggest fan. I feel the handle is to long for the blade, but I really like the PM 3 and I have eight different types and I don't like the light ones.

So many mouth breathers in here complaining about the price or that they’re ugly. A knife is a tool and Spyderco always focuses their designs based on function before form. When you hold and use a PM2 or just about any Spyderco, you realize they’re not designed to be esthetically pleasing. They’re designed to be high performing cutting tools.

Regarding the price, if you think they cost too much you should try to make a folding knife in America that’s better or same quality for less. Good luck. 😏

Not buying a knife for its satisfying clicking sound. Is everyone OCD

Heck of a popular ugly birdface knife!

I wish the PM2 sucked less. Or maybe it's Spyderco that's the problem. My first couple PM2s were okay-ish but I wasn't impressed. I ended up giving them away. Fast forward a couple years, and I thought I'd circle back and put one in the collection. Blade play at any pivot tension, tons of lock stick, and two of the three pocket clip screws were stripped from the factory. As a bonus, Spyderco wants to charge you $20 for that garbage-ass pocket clip. Because it's your fault, not theirs.

Knife Center wants us to purchase this knife because the profit margin gives them a huge cut. It’s a cheap belt knife and you have to buy expensive scales to make it worth the price and you’re still over paying for it. It is rather boring as well.

Hey BladeHQ, why did you remove my post about the non fixable bladeplay on my PM2 and the bad customer service Spycerco has??

Got my wharncliffe PM2 in CTS-XHP right next to me, great edc blade shape.

If they'd chamfer the edges of the scales, it would be a huge improvement. I find the pm2 an uncomfortable knife to hold, especially if you need to grip it hard.

Bull***t
That knife is designed only for stubbing.

The name say everything. It is for paramilitary use.

Everything else like cooking and stuff is rediculous.

Maybe 4 years ago. Its not worth $200+. There are comparable options at half or less.
