Contrary to what the video suggests, you cannot swap weapons at will. Weapons are essentially your class, and switching them requires masteries. Unless you possess skill conversion scrolls, which are quite rare, your masteries won't transfer. You might receive some scrolls as battle pass rewards or while leveling, but they are so scarce that you might only be able to switch weapons once unless the game's mechanics change. Moreover, without scrolls, you could theoretically switch and then level up your weapon using skill books obtained during the game. However, this depends on how far into the game you are and how many skill books you have remaining, though it's probable that you've already used all your books to enhance your current weapons.
