CIGA Design Blue Planet Stainless Steel Review

This time I'm reviewing something that I bet you're not used to seeing on the channel! I got this CIGA Design U Series Blue Planet in for review and I get to keep it. It is quite some thing extraordinary to say the least.

This watch model won the GPHG Challenge award in 2021, beating the likes of Doxa and Oris in the process. An innovative design inspired by the sundial, and a meaningful message in the same package.

This watch is quite symbolical for the progress of Chinese watchmaking, since it was the first time a Chinese design won a GPHG award. The watch has a modified hi-beat automatic movement to allow for the unique way of telling the time, a heavily domed sapphire crystal, and quite some good finishing to go along with it. The main act is of course the beatiful blue and silver globe. The "blue planet" in the watch has some stunning 3D carving, showcasing mountaineous areas accurately, and the elegant compass logo telling the time entirely.

Despite the watches hefty dimensions in the traditional sense of the measurements, it wears very nicely thanks to the pebble like shape, and even I, with my 6,5 inch wrist, can pull it off with ease!

Omg I just checked out CIGA design watches and I love them, they’re incredible! I never heard of them before. I think I’m going to try and get their black hole watch. I really like this watch but in the black and gold design too!

I like the band that you have. Mine did not come with that type of band. Is that a band one can buy?
